This pressing is the hardest to find of all of the UK mono albums.

Pressed in a single small batch in late 1969, it was the final 1960's mono pressing of this album.

'Sgt. Pepper's....' and 'Please, Please Me' were also pressed in mono on this label too, but 'Help!' was the poorest seller and is certainly the rarest.

This highly respectable copy is on that '1-EMI box' Parlophone label: PMC 1255

Both are clean & undamaged with a small number of spindle trails around the centre hole of each.

Visual: VERY GOOD

Clean, glossy playing surfaces with no significant marks or anything we would call a scratch on either side. Close examination biretlcy beneat halogen light reveals some harmless hairlines and paper scuffs but nothing which affects sound or play.

Audio: EXCELLENT

This has been played on good equipment only as all tracks play clearly with no groove/playwear distortion. The only issue we heard during our play-back were a few soft clicks at the beginning of 'It's Only Love'. This is a great sounding copy which will not disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A clean & strong example with some light storagewear and a few 'thumbnails' wrinkles to the front panel but great corners and unworn opening edges. The rear panel is unblemished and all flipbacks are immaculate. Both seams and the spine re smooth & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with no writing, tears or seam splits.
