Of all the stereo pressings of this album ever made this is, in our opinion, the finest there is.
Pressed in by classical specialist label Nimbus in 1984 using an all-tube, all-analog mastering chain from a 1:1, 30ips copy of the original stereo master tape, this pressing was limited to 1,000 copies and only available mail-order only via 'Hi-Fi News' magazine.
It was pressed using a unique high quality vinyl supplied to them by British chemical company, ICI.
The depth and quality of sound on this pressing is beyond compare. The transparency and clarity of the mid-range and richness of the bass response are measured to perfection. There is none of the high-end boost or mid-range emptiness of the MFSL pressing or extended low-end of the Australian Audio 5 disc.
It's a record you can really crank up without hurting your ears and details which you may have never heard before reveal themselves on every track.
It is the most cherished and most in-demand pressing of this album which is unlikely to be available in this true audiophile format ever again. Apple are now firmly against issuing audiophile pressings of Beatles albums.

The disc itself bears the standard 1984 2-EMI-box Parlophone label which were supplied to Nimbus by EMI.
The gatefold cover is also standard issue for that time except for the Nimbus sticker in the front upper right corner.
