In 1969 Apple were not yet set up to produce any dedicated 'demonstration' 45s. The few titles which required advance promotion copies were the white labelled discs from the first batch off the press with Apple custom labels usually reserved for acetates adhered to them - often with typed or handwritten labels.

This genuine UK Apple 'demo' of John's debut solo 45 'Give Peace A Chance'/'Remember Love' (Apple 13) released on 4th July 1969 is such an example.

Both labels have Apple 'Custom Recording' labels with the '3 Savile Row, London W1' address with typewritten labels detailing; catalogue number, song, and artist.

The disc, beneath the labels, has a push-out centre.

Very few of these were issued and only a handful are known to have survived.

Matrices: APPLE 13 A-1 & APPLE 13 B-1

Earliest stamper codes: 1/G & 1/G

Both are present and fully intact. Handwritten numbers are present on both labels and some words (in Spanish) are on the 'Give Peace A Chance' label.

Both sides of the disc are clean and play through without any major audible faults. Several light surface marks are present on each side which do not affect play.
