Factory-fresh deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight with just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines visible beneath halogen light.

The sound is clear, warm and unworn throughout with just a touch of regular vinyl background on the audience ambiance on side 1. 'She's Leaving Home' sounds clean & undistorted and there are no clicks, pops or any other distractions. Tough to find a better sounding 1st press.
A fine strong and clean example with vibrant unfaded outer panels retaining a sparkling high-gloss laminate where the only significant signs of use are two light 4-6cm wrinkles on the front panel and one on the rear. All corners are in great shape and all opening edges are sharp and unworn. The inside of the gatefold is pristine, however there is a unique printing error on the right panel - some black smudges which are beneath the laminate. Quality control at EMI was very strict and errors like this rarely made it out of the factory. The spine is fully laminated and worded and all seams are smooth & unstressed.
Clean & flat with no writing, tears or seam splits.
