This superb sounding UK MONO pressing dates from 1964 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206

Both labels carry 'The Parlophone Co..' worded rim texts and have the 'Dominion. Belinda..' publishing credit for the song 'Money'.

A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.

The side 2 label bears a different layout than most pressings of this LP from this date. The key detail being line 6 which begins: '6. DEVIL IN HER HEART'...  Most labels begin that line with the word; 'Songs..'

Matrices: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N

Stamper codes: 3,10,11/GAP & 1/LH

Vinyl weight: 152g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the large front 'MONO' indicator.

This cover has the earliest 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' spelling on the rear tracklisting.

Complete with original poly-lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve

Pristine playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with just some harmless wispy paper marks visible directly beneath halogen light. Both labels are clean & unworn bearing a small handful of faint, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Audio: MINT -

Played just a couple of times on quality equipment only, the sound quality is flawless throughout with no traces of any groove/playwear, crackle, ticks, clicks or any other such distractions or wear.

A highly respectable example of this iconic cover which retains a clean, unyellowed, glossy front panel bearing just a very faint disc impression from storage, but no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing. The exposed rear panel is clean and bright with the only significant blemish being a 2.5cm pen line just below the 'EMITEX' wording in the lower right corner. All flipbacks are intact and both seams and the fully worded spine are in perfect condition.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -

Crisp & flat with two tiny repairs around the central window one one side only.
