This scarce UK stereo 2nd pressing dates from 1968 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' worded rims.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper codes: 3/OL & 2/MA
No tax code on either side
Vinyl weight: 140g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the rarely seen outline front stereo indicator.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Both are clean & bright with no major spindle markings either side.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Clean & glossy playing surfaces but with several noticeable hairlines and surface marks each side.
Inspection beneath halogen light reveals marks from inner-sleeve removal and some additional lighter surface marks.
Audio: VERY GOOD
Played a number of times but the sound is clean & unworn throughout.
An occasional tick is audible in the runout groove and between tracks but there are no major faults or distractions anywhere.
Cover: VERY GOOD
Clean & firm with some storagewear to the front panel which includes a few 'thumbnail' & spine wrinkles.
There is light shelfwear to the corners but both opening edges are sharp and unworn.
The exposed rear panel is clean & unblemished and all flipbacks are undamaged.
The top spine has some wear in the middle but the the spine is clearly worded.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
Clean with some storage wrinkling, one small tear but no writing or seam splits.
