Beatles - Dizzy Miss Lizzy/Yesterday - UK 1965 EXPORT 45 Parl. DP 563
- Item # 649539
- Qty Available 1
The Beatles were reluctant to release 'Yesterday' in the UK in 1965 as was not seen as a real group 'effort'. However it was sanctioned for release in some European countries and became a big hit.
However, EMI did press a very small number of copies at their UK factory in Hayes in August 1965 for export only.
The disc has black & silver Parlophone labels with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims and the export series catalogue number: DP 563
Unlike many copies of this pressing, the disc's push-out centre is still fully intact
Curiously, despite not being destined for UK sale, it has a UK 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the 'Dizzy Miss Lizzy' label.
Matrices: 7XCE 18739-1 & 7XCE 18740-1
Stamper codes: 1/M & 1/R
Housed in its original green & white Parlophone company sleeve.

A superb set showing no spindle marks around either centre hole.
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing just a few light surface marks but nothing we would call a scratch.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Both tracks sound superb and in much higher quality than on the 'Help!' album . Each song plays cleanly & clearly with no trace of any groove/playwear or background interference.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
