Description
Records were not shrinkwrapped or sealed in the UK until retailers like Virgin and HMV began the practice in the mid-1970's. Therefore sealed UK pressings from before that time are extremely rare.
This 45 was exported to the U.S. for sale in Tower Records who sealed it on receipt for sale in one of their stores.
This SEALED UK pressing of 'A Hard Day's Night'/'Things We Said Today' dates from 1969.
The solid centred disc has the 1-EMI box Parlophone label: R 5160.
Housed in its original green & white 'swirl' Parlophone cover advertising contemporary Parlophone LPs releases on the rear and its original 'Tower Records' price sticker on the front.
