This unique typewritten letter on The Official Rolling Stones Fan Club headed paper dates from April 13th 1964 - just 3 days before the release of their 1st album!
Between April the 10-13, the Stones were busy recording at the BBC for 'Saturday Club', so popping into the Fan Club offices in Regent Street in central London, which were near the BBC studios, would have been very easy
The letter was typed by fan club secretary Annabelle Smith to a young fan named Peter and reads:
"Dear Peter, Thank you so much for your drawing of Keith. He is standing beside me and I have given him the picture. His comments are:- 'Yeah it looks great' and he says he is taking it home to study. As proof here is a note from him, Thanks, Annabelle!"
Keith has handwritten the following note below that text in blue ballpoint pen:
"It's a nice drawing - thank you - Keith Richards"
This nice and early fan club letter with a genuine inscription and signature comes with its original envelope postmarked "13 April '64" with three penny stamps attached.
The letter is clean and complete with three horizontal folds, two of which have mall tears to the left edge.
We guarantee this letter and signature to be 100% genuine and offer a full money back guarantee if it is proved otherwise.
