Description

This very scarce pressing of their 1965 singles dates from late 1969 on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5389

This short-lived label design omits both the 'Sold in UK... text of the 1st pressing and the EMI logo of the '70 discs.

The centre piece of the label also omits the 'polo' ring found on early '70's pressings.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs.

Stamper codes: 12/ARH & 12/AMD

Housed in its original green & white 'swirl' Parlophone company sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Labels: MINT -

Both are clean & bright with just one or two faint spindle trails on each.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which, apart from a light turntable scuff on the 'we Can Work It Out' side, are unmarked.

Audio: MINT -

Both sides of this great sounding disc play flawlessly.
