This 1st issue twin-track mono 3 & 3/4 i.p.s. reel-to-reel tape album dates from 1964.
It contains the same tracks as the vinyl album and is on Parlophone: TA-PMC 1230
The tape has white & red printed leaders and is spooled onto a clear 4" EMITAPE spool which is held in place inside the box by a specially formed card inner-tray.
The tape is secured in place on the reel by its original/rare white plastic clip.
The tiny green & gold Parlophone sticker is adhered to one side of the reel.
Also present is the EMITAPE printed information insert & packing slip.
Housed within a 5" lidded card box with a reproduction of the album cover on the lid.
CONDITION
The plastic spool is clean & undamaged with the tape itself being in Excellent condition and plays without fault.
The box fully intact with moderate storagewear/age marking to the lid and tray.
There are also dried tape marks on the inside of the base of the tray.
The album's title is written on the inner tray in blue ballpoint pen.
All corners of both lid and tray are strong and unsplit.
The tape has been FULLY PLAY TESTED on an Revox A-77 tape machine.
