Description

Here are two unique cover bromides made for EMI's art department indicating the necessary alterations to the covers of 'Please, Please Me' and 'Rubber Soul' for the 1981 mono reissues.

Both are copies of stereo covers on regular printer paper with annotations for catalogue number changes and copyright text marked in ballpoint and felt-tip pens.

'Please, Please Me' measures: 63 x 32 cms

'Rubber Soul' measures: 63 x 36 cms

The albums were eventually issued with these corrections added as part of the mono reissue campaign in July 1981.

 

CONDITION

Both sheets are in EXCELLENT condition with a little creasing to the edges but no tears or missing pieces.
