Bidding & Buying
As a buyer you agree that by placing a bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract and you are legally obliged to purchase any and all items on which you are the highest bidder when the auction ends.
This auction uses proxy bidding. Bids are automatically entered on behalf of the bidder for the lowest amount required to win the item. Our software will place bids on your behalf using the above bid increments (set out below) up to your maximum bid. It will only bid as much as required to ensure that you remain the high bidder, or to meet the reserve price, up to your maximum bid amount. For lots which have a reserve, if your maximum bid is at least the reserve price, we’ll automatically increase your bid to meet this reserve, and bidding will continue from that point. If another bidder places the same maximum bid or higher, you will be notified automatically so you can place another bid.
Price level Bid Increment
500.00 50.00
1,000 100.00
5,000 200.00
10,000 1,000
Each lot has an Automatic Extend/Anti-snipe feature meaning if a bid is received within the last 3 minutes of the lot ending, the ending time will extend a further 30 seconds until bidding is finished.
A currency conversion tool is provided on the site. This tool is only intended as an approximate guide and you are therefore strongly advised to conduct your own research into the applicable exchange rates prior to placing a bid.
